Umbrae Serpentis Riddle is the daughter of Lord Voldemort. She is his pride and joy, and always strives to follow in his footsteps. But Umbrae isn't your typical 15 year old. She can curse better than any other Death Eater, including her father. Going to Hogwarts pretending to be Draco malfoy's cousin from Romania, Umbrae wonders if there is anyone she can trust anymore.

After the world is overrun by dangerous shadow monsters named Umbrae, the world is forced into compound cities, behind walls. Marina is the last Tala in her compound, a race of people with the ability to communicate with the Umbrae. But when the Eminence falls ills and the city's shields are bound to shut off in a couple of days, Marina is forced to venture outside the city's walls in search of a cure. With her best friend, estranged step-sister, and the Eminence's son by her side, they set out on an adventure to save everyone they love.

In the veiled realm of Umbrae, where shadows dance and masks glow in the dark, peace reigns under the watch of the Umbren-mysterious beings of magic and mischief. But when humans stumble into their world, the fragile balance cracks. Among the newcomers is Ezren Vale, whose hunger for power leads him to steal the Heart of Shade-a relic capable of bending the entire realm to his will. Now, four unlikely shadowlings-Nox, Luma, Varn, and Kiri-must journey across the twilight lands, from whispering forests to the ruins of forgotten light, to take back what was stolen. Along the way, they'll forge bonds with the humans who mean no harm and face a choice: protect their realm... or destroy the link between worlds forever.

Than things start changing around him. Shadows are like whispering figures surrounding him, the wind howls in fear about him. And soon Ven himself starts changing and he meets some pretty strange people -and things- when he try's to figure out why. This is an original story. I came up with all of it EXCEPT- The cover photo (that comes curtesy of a Bing search.) Any refrences I make to other franchises (like Harry Potter). And any song I leave for the chapter belong to someone else. Unless I say otherwise these are a solid truthfully mine, as I might share some original songs.
