Trunks is having a hard time at his job at Capsule Corp. With everything he has to do as president, he's beginning to overwork himself and he wants to take a break, but he doesnt want to let any of his employees - or especially his mother - down. And to make matters worse, he has an upcoming business meeting with one of the biggest corporate owners in the state. He has to convince Bolus Brand's owner, Mr. Korudamon, to have a mutual collaboration with Capsule Corp. If he screws this up, the entire reputation of Capsule Corp goes down the drain. But Trunks' best friend, Goten, wants to help him out. He thinks that if he found a special someone to confide and find comfort in, he'd be able to find peace. Unbeknownst to him, though, Trunks has actually caught feelings for him as years have gone by - he just doesn't know how to deal with these emotions. However, when Goten sets Trunks up on a date with a girl named Thyme, everything goes to hell almost immediately. Being totally uninterested, Trunks completely up and ditches Thyme in the middle of their "date".
