In this science fiction short story, a girl is left alone by an anomaly that caused time to stop and she is the only thing in existence that wasn't frozen.

Nico lives in fear. She has to many people who want her dead, to many to count anyway. she can't trust anyone, she can't love anyone, she can't live. Nico is always in fear. There's not really anything she can do about it except pretend the fear isn't there, It is there, they just can't see it. It's transparent.

Death will always be the great equalizer. No man, nor woman can escape its icy gaze, not even the richest among us can pay a fee for immortality. Throughout the last few months, important people have been found in the dreary woods of Gravity Falls completely mutilated. Each body has been as twisted as the murder's mind, with broken bones sticking out in grotesque ways and many other details- that most would taste bile while explaining. Even though most of the bodies have been unrecognizable, they all have one thing in common, a third eye carved into the forehead. The news spread like wildfire and sent shivers down the townsfolk's spines, as they began to realize that something quite sinister was beginning to brew in the 1920s of Gravity Falls. Something that hid in the shadows and would bite at anyone that was digging to deep into its plans. People like the "clinically distraught" Blendin Blandin. With one of Time Anomaly Removal Crew's strongest agents dead in the field, there was only one solution to the problem. To send his two apprentices, Dipper and Mabel Pines, to find out how he was disembodied. But in the end, not even these two time deities will be able to escape their problems with the pull of a time-tape measure.

Lena and Mark's vacation turns nightmarish as time begins to loop, reality shifts, and Lena sees another version of herself. Mark vanishes, leaving a warning: "Don't trust the other you." Trapped in an endless cycle, Lena discovers a journal-**written by her past self-**revealing she's being replaced. One final reset. She wakes up. Mark whispers, "Bad dream?" But his voice is wrong. And on the nightstand: "You ran out of time."

The story takes place in the fictional town of "Moonstone Hill, where every object and people has a dark history. At daytime it's full of energy and life but as the dusk appears so does the nightmare residing in the very deep of the town. Everyone knows about this unseen and mystical presence yet they want to stay unknown about it. For years, people residing there finds strange occurrences happening and murder made a few people investigate. But the local authority dismissed it as a case of an animal attack. But all this soon starts to change with the arrival of Benjamin Carson, a nineteen-year-old teenager who hates to explore. His curiosity will lead to many secrets out and a chance upon the mystical flower of the rare kind will turn things around for the worst. His newly found friends and their guts to raise their voice against the unknown might turn things for either good or worse. But for now, the mysterious presence is waiting..........
