This is an 863 Deb x Wes fan story. It is set in a separate timeline in which Deb and Wes still work at Syntec but Wes has seen the other timeline due to one of the experiments. Deb doesn't know that she killed Wes in the other timeline and has been going about her days as normal. Will the two be able to make it work while Wes knows? A 17 year old finds himself in California in the middle of no where. Unable to remember the last few days, he walks by a road that leads him to an abandoned lab. There he meets 4 people who claim that the lab was part of a company called Syntec. They also claim to be part of a project called "863" and that they are "subject 4". Now with more questions than answers he agrees to help them look for "serum". But he has a secret, one that if known, could endanger the multi-verse as we know it. What could go wrong?

A college student finds a journal in the attic of her family home. Turns out Syntec really did reach all over the continent, even all the way to Cincinnati, Ohio...
