My eyes grew wide as I heard the banging of gun shots going off behind me. I whipped around and saw three armed men fire shot guns and pistols at us as we ducked behind cars. Suburbia broke a car window with the butt of his gun to distract the men as we ran toward the car on the other side of the street. He started firing back at them after they looked at him; you could see the old, angry flames back to burning in his eyes after two years without fighting. He shot one down but not before the other two turned on us. "RUN! RUN FOOLS!" Suburbia yelled as he sprinted across the street and reloaded the shot gun. I got defensive and pulled out my Desert Eagle and started firing at the man closest to us. I shot out his right arm so he couldn't shoot too well, but he quickly switched hands and started shooting again. I felt anger bubble up inside of me as I shot at the man. I grit my teeth and kept firing, hoping I wouldn't run out of ammo. I heard a yelp and turned my head to see Suburbia going down. Luckily, the guy I was firing at turned his head too; by now I was full of hatred and rage. I quit messing around and shot the guy in the chest; he crippled onto his knees as he held his rib cage. I jumped over a car hood and ran toward Suburbia. The guy I shot started firing back at me again as I ran. He shot me in the legs but I forced myself to keep running. Simply crossing the road made it seem like it was 1,000 miles long but I just kept going; nothing was gonna stop me from saving my brother. My ears were ringing; I could barely hear the gun shots now. I could barely hear Animal, Heather, and Scott calling out my name. I bit down hard on my tongue and it started to bleed. I spit out blood and looked back at my friends as I jumped over the car Suburbia was behind. I saw the fear in everyone's eyes, especially Heather's.
