WARNING: Light swearing and men with shirts off, as well as some self harm. Nothing too serious. This is a Stucky fan fiction, and I have no idea how this is going to turn out. It's loosely based on The Winter Soldier from Captain America (Marvel), but things will be different. Please leave suggestions and comments so that I can improve where needed. WARNING There are spoilers, so if you haven't seen the Marvel Captain America movies, you have been warned.

'You held a search party right away, at first light. You were out there all day, in the freezing Alps but you never wavered, you never showed any signs of slowing down. Your troop almost passed out in the cold but you didn't care, you just wanted to find him.' Peggy holds his hand, fingers interlacing. 'That's when I realized that you would follow him through hell and back, and he would do the same. In the midst of war-torn Europe, Bucky manages to find a way to help Steve take his mind off the war for a while

"I'm not gay," Steve insisted with a laugh, tossing his head back as if Tony had cracked one of the funniest jokes in history. On this rare occasion, however, Tony Stark had been dead serious when he brought up the idea that Steve should be questioning his sexuality. "C'mon Stark, we're writing down names of people to invite to my bachelor party, which if you haven't forgotten, is because I'm getting married to Sharon Carter who just so happens, to be female." "I'll make you a bet." Steve nodded for him to continue, watching as Tony crossed his arms, gazing up at the ceiling. "For one week you have to date one of the guys on that list." Tony held up a hand as Steve began to interrupt, a horrified expression on his face. "You get to choose who it is," he continued, "and it's only for a week." "At the end of the week if you're still convinced that you're straight...I'll pay for your wedding." Steve didn't hesitate, sealing the deal with a firm shake.

Steve Rogers may look threatening and dangerous, but you couldn't meet a nicer guy. His large group of oddball friends can all assure you that he's one of the nicest people they know and practically harmless, but everyone else in his small town is sure he's trouble, and since he's not really given a chance to prove them wrong, he might as well fit the stereotype, right? Bucky Barnes looks innocent enough. He comes from a 'good' family, and his friends are well behaved and intelligent. Bucky comes home to a sleeping Steve, and they get distracted from ordering dinner.

~ Loosely Canon~ Two years since Steve went back and Bucky is hardly able to remember the days of the week. Sam tried his hardest, and to his credit, some of Bucky's happiest days have been with him and Sarah. It just isn't the same. Nothing is the same when his best friend is six feet beneath the ground, his coffin coated in a billion particles of soft, brown dirt. Bucky refuses to live without Steve, and so he seeks out the only man who Bucky would trust to turn his life to flames: Helmut Zemo. After putting up with a miserable assassin for the best part of two years, Sam has had enough, and he contacts a familiar group of friends he hasn't spoken to in awhile. They must create a plan to bring Steve back to the present before Bucky is able to locate Zemo. They have two weeks- they fail? They loose their Bucky.
