VA fanfic - set during Frostbite Rose and Lissa are constantly fighting, and darkness get to them. Alberta sees the affect it is having on Rose, and comes up with a training program that will get her away from St Vladimir's for two months. I own nothing. Feel free to use whatever, sharing is caring :)

This is set during Frostbite (after Christmas, but before Ski trip) Do you ever wonder what would've happened if Rose walked away from Dimitri, sick of him pulling her back and forth - telling her he had feelings, being affectionate, calling her Roza, to then push her away and distance himself saying they can't be together, to do it time and time again - rejecting them having a relationship. Time after time Dimitri pushed Rose away, breaking her heart little by little. Rose decided she deserved better than that treatment, she knew she wasn't going to get her man, and didn't want to get completely broken to the point of not being able to recover, so she came to the decision to leave. Having personally been in a situation similar to Rose and Dimitri - obviously not Dhampir's, nor student/ mentor relationship, but being 18 wanting to be with someone 8 years older and going through the back and forth of wanting to be together, but different factors getting in the way of it. I was close to walking away. That's where this idea came from, what could have happened. I don't own the cover art, original story etc. Feel free to take anything from this idea, sharing is caring after all :)
