In a distant past, long before Critical Role or even YouTube, a group of friends gathered around a table and brought a fantasy world to life through a homebrewed tabletop campaign. Years later, the chronicles of that adventure resurface-retold and reimagined. This is a tribute to those moments of laughter, tension, and friendship. Based on real session notes and original drawings from the late '90s and early 2000s, this story has been carefully reworked using modern tools, including AI, to preserve and enhance the essence of the original creation. "Madoken: The Spellblade Saga" is a blend of classic fantasy, nostalgic spirit, and creative renewal. It's a personal project-part storytelling, part memorial, part release. May this journey reach the hearts of new readers and honor those who once walked these imaginary paths beside me.

She hopes that one day; she would be strong enough to take her revenge against the Nightmare that slaughtered her family. But there are a couple of snags in her plan: one, she's been failing her classes; two, she still doesn't have―or rather, fails to acquire―a contracted familiar which is a primary requirement for any Magus. Still, she works hard to become a full-fledged Magus despite the odds stacked against her, but she's rapidly losing faith. All that changes when she meets the academy's wild card: Siegfried von Durand.
