A prank gone wrong, a life made right. When royalty meets what's common... will sparks take flight? Or burn everything down as they collide? Lucian was the spoiled, arrogant, irresponsible prince of Moratovia. In the untimely death of his mother, the queen regent Leonora the Eighth, he finds himself leaving his kingdom to run away from his suffocating life. Armed with anonimity, he flies half-way accross the globe to a cluster of islands he has never heard of before... in search of something to awaken his passion. Hope was the eldest son of a poor "sapatero" (shoemaker). His life was always lacking... for comfort, for acknowledgement, for love. At a time when he had his hands full taking care of his rather large family, a stranger comes barging into his life unannounced to turn his life upside down... only to fill it with color and meaning.

I, Isa Lauris Schumacher, am from a long line of...you guessed it, shoemakers. Over two-hundred years ago, my ancestors in Germany, began Schumacher Shoemaking in a little shop. A little shop that almost didn't make it. Until it did. Everyone knows the tale of the Elves and the Shoemaker, right? Wrong. You don't even know half of it. What you don't know, ever since the Schumachers' accepted the Elves' gifts during that time, a curse was placed upon them. A curse that's currently killing my dad, like it did his dad, and his dad's dad before him, all the way back to the first. They all died before their thirty-seventh Christmas. Well, my dad's thirty-seventh Christmas is on its way... Not only the men of my family is doomed, but the Other-World where the Elves, Fae, and Othercreatures live is in peril too. If that world is to perish, the human one won't be far behind. Only the blood of a Schumacher can stop it. At least, that's what I'm told by my family's Helping Elf. *Unedited* (pointers welcomed!)

"Oh? Trying to act cute I see. Don't forget who rules over you. If anyone tries to take you away from me, I'll show them no mercy. I love you" King Lancelot said possessively. Ever since you joined a contest which was organized by The Heart's Empire, everything went uphill for you, or so you thought.... Was the king's alluring smile just a mask? Or is there something much more ominous lurking underneath? All pictures are not mine. I found them on Google and Pinterest. Credits goes to all the owners.

SNOW'S MAGIC WINNER from @FairytaleCommunity Not blessed with their own children, a dressmaker and her husband, a cobbler, find a way to share their love with children all around them. This story is a re-imagining of the fairy tale The Elves and the Shoemaker with a Christmas holiday twist. A note for context: although I do not approve of using animal fur in clothing, this story is set in the past when natural fibres were all that were available.
