Living as an Assassin for hire never did pay awfully well no matter who your clients turned out to be. Resistance or First Order, it didn't matter, credits were credits after all even with the ongoing conflict in the Galaxy which seemed to have always resided there in some way. What did start to become a slight annoyance was however, was that crossing paths with some cocky Resistance Commander was becoming a bad habit you had picked up along the way, not to mention the fact the infamous Kylo Ren had now focused his attention on you too. You're a young assassin from the Outer Rim, growing up depending on yourself and only yourself has made you hard on the world and its inhabitants but also cunning and skilled. Known throughout the galaxy as one of the top dogs in your field, you pride yourself on no attachments, and no client being left unsatisfied. Which makes falling to everything you vowed to hate that much more tragic. (This Fic contains Reader/Poe Dameron as well as some hints to Kylo Ren/Reader, as well as themes of violence/blood/sex and nsfw content. Please be aware of this before you start reading, it follows along the events of the Sequel movies loosely but only comes into contact with them directly on a few occasions. Enjoy!).

The First Order have been defeated. Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa are gone. Upon the eve of such colossal victory the New Republic has started to take back its dominion over the galaxy. While Rey disappears after hearing a voice in the Jedi Temple, Poe and Finn set to work to rebuild the war-torn galaxy. But many foes, obstacles, missions, adventures - and even a Revolution - makes that goal become complicated. But even under such hardship could potential love finally blossom for Poe Dameron? And could Finn become truly one with the Force? And through their many adventures familiar faces from across all of the Star Wars galaxy may appear to help. First part first published on December 19 2020 - one year after release of The Rise Of Skywalker. This has just been something I've been writing for a while to pass the time during lockdown of 2020. For that reason the prose is simple but it's easy to digest. And note that I began writing the bulk of this long before Season 2 of the Mandalorian. Minor things have been since changed to keep with continuity but larger plot points that are difficult to alter that clash with continuity may remain. Also I don't own Star Wars ... so don't sue me Disney - you have enough money Also also if you like any of my original characters please ask if you want to use them. And if any of my original characters share a resemblance to characters from other works this is coincidental as I don't read Fanfiction myself anymore. (Some canon events or scenarios or settings might be changed or altered throughout)
