I have Selective Mutism myself, and I wish people understood me more. The main purposes of me writing this are: Hopefully other people with Selective Mutism will know they are not alone, People who don't have Selective Mutism will know what it is after reading this, or atleast they will know more about it. I want to raise awareness, but also I'm scared of people knowing that I wrote this. But I've wanted to write about this for a long time, so that's what I'm going to do. I also encourage anyone else with selective mutism to speak out. Whether it's with your voice, or by writing like me. Both are just as good as eachother!! :) We need people to understand us!!
