Hermione Granger's summer had not been the best, her mother's sudden illness had put quite a lot of financial stress on her family, and on her father; a usually quiet and controlled man, he had become angry, and often violent. Some days, Hermione was unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and would suffer from his animosity. The lack of money had caused them to go hungry for days at a time and Hermione had felt herself starting to drop weight significantly, losing the curves she had begun to gain in fourth year. But now she was headed back to Hogwarts, having gotten the letter confirming her position as Head Girl she was excited and scared all at the same time, but ready to be back at the place she loved, with the people she loved. That is until who she finds out who the head boy is, and subsequently, who she has to share a dorm with. Draco Malfoy is back, and as cruel as ever, with his father in Azkaban and his mother distant as ever he hides behind his cold eyes and hating facade. He is ready to be back at Hogwarts, and away from the large, empty, Malfoy Manor. But when he finds out who he will be sharing a dorm with as Head Boy he is furious. Will Hermione be able to keep her summer and her bruises a secret from the prying, inquisitive Malfoy? All while keeping her studies up and her friends close? And will Malfoy be able to keep his facade strong, and not crack under the pressure? They are both stubborn and prideful people, but innocent curiosity consumes them both from the inside out. *Note - I am horrible at descriptions, I really am, sorry, I hope you read it anyway. Being with him, Jennifer felt like she was flying and the sky's the limit. Every touch felt like electricity shooting through her. Every "I love you" worth it. But now she wasn't so sure. She was 16 years old, just beginning to understand life. One night, one guy, and one wrong move amounted to the worst mistake of her life. Instantly all the sunny blue skies replaced by dark stormy clouds. No one knows what happened to her just yet. Just herself, and of course him. Daniel left her and gave her this secret to harbor inside of her for the rest of her life. But now, there's news that he's back, and he certainly hasn't forgotten a single detail. What does he want with her now? Will he ever let her live at peace or continue to destroy what little part of her life she finally rebuilt? And the biggest question of all, will forgiveness ever be an option?
