Scandinavian Stories

The first part of a larger project to novelize the epic poem "Beowulf," this first chapter details the life of Shield Sheafson, founder of the Danish nation who is the focus of the first 52 lines of the epic. This novelization adds a lot of backstory that the poem does not offer, though I remain faithful to the original text that exists. The retelling also tries to connect the many stories within the story of "Beowulf," creating a universe where different characters and events are interconnected. "Beowulf" is an ancient Anglo-Saxon epic poem about the life of a Viking warrior and hero. If you are into adventure stories and/or Vikings, you will enjoy this story!

On the other hand, Soren Martin Stjernberg is a Danish heir who is searching for his long lost love which had disappeared with no valid reason. Without knowing why, their paths collided under the Northern European Skies which then marks the start of their journey which was sealed by a deal. A deal which states that Soren will not report Olivia for the damage that she costs, if she could help him find his long lost love. She blindly agreed with the deal as she plans to escape, unfortunately her plan failed when she found out that Soren is staying exactly beside where she is. With no doubt, the two of them decided to start their mission to find Soren's missing piece which obviously broke Olivia's trip. Could Soren get his long lost love back? Or will Olivia let the past break her trip? But what if this trip would make it into something more than a vacation under the European skies?
