YearningHours
Somewhere between the noise of a hundred voices, two people find a reason to listen only to each other.
Royal44 has always been a little difficult to understand.
Maybe it's the way he dresses, carrying himself with a softness that doesn't seem to belong in a place so obsessed with being tough. Maybe it's the handbags, the clothes, the way he refuses to make himself smaller just because people are watching. Or maybe it's simply the fact that he stopped trying to explain himself a long time ago.
He's been here before. He knows the lights, the cameras, the pressure of having every mistake turned into something bigger. This time, he doesn't want anything except to prove himself and leave with a win.
Then there's Nowimyoung, stepping into the world for the very first time.
The youngest contestant. A new face among names he's spent years listening to. He comes in with wide eyes and too much curiosity, wanting nothing more than to learn from the people around him. To find seniors worth admiring. To find something in their music that might help him understand his own.
He wasn't supposed to become interested in Royal.
Royal wasn't supposed to let anyone get close.
But sometimes, getting to know someone changes the way you see them.
A senior becomes a person.
Admiration becomes something warmer.
And a person you never expected to need slowly becomes the one you find yourself looking for in every room.
They came to the show for music, for ambition, for the chance to become something bigger than they were before.
They just didn't know that, somewhere along the way, they would become something to each other, too.
