"You can trust me, Scar." Eighteen-year-old Scarlet has had a complicated year. It's been 6 months since Scarlet's reckless and abusive boyfriend, Sam, moved away and she is finally learning to breathe. However, it's Sam's voice that still haunts her at night. Doesn't take long for her to realize they have secrets, but she lets it go because she has her own. Now the death of your parents is pretty traumatizing, but life decides to throw in petty high school jerks, rumors, and some extremely hot and dangerous boys just because. They say when life gives you lemons make lemonade, but they never said what to do when life gives you Greek God looking boys. Guess we'll have to find out.

This is a short story that I am considering turning into a book on here! It's about a troubled girl contemplating ending her own life. This story is something that I wrote based on my own experience with suicidal thoughts. I am thinking about making it into a book on here! Let me know what you guys think.

She (I) was born in an American base in a municipality called Sulzbach in Germany but was raised in four cities in the Golden State. Her (my) skin has beautiful dark ebony with sparkling brown eyes and a thick afro. She (I) lived in a family of eight. At an early age, she (I) did not know what the word "poverty" meant. She (I) had always thought that my family was middle class. She (I) thought that her parents had decent jobs. She (I) always felt like she did not know how the "real world" operates. She (I) was naive about a lot of things. She (I) felt like everyone was slowing things down for her (me) so she (I) could not catch on because she (I) was behind her (my) peer group.
