Four thousand years is a long time. But you've toughed your days as an angel out, and you've somehow managed to continue living in the Celestial Realm without Lucifer to brighten your days. But when Diavolo's student exchange program brings you back to the man you once knew so well, you find that things aren't the same. Because four thousand years is a long time. And the love you once felt for Lucifer has changed into something different. Something special. Something romantic. But, above all else: something forbidden.

You love Diavolo. And Diavolo loves you. But in the Devildom, relationships aren't as straightforward as that - and Diavolo being the future ruler of the Devildom certainly complicates things. So when you learn that he wants to spend the rest of his life with you, a human, you're overjoyed. Yet, there are still issues. Big issues. Diavolo wants you to be his paramour - whatever that means. But you want to be his wife. And with each passing moment, it's beginning to feel like even love can't bridge the gap between your worlds.

Where there is the jewel of the heavens, there is the pearl of the abyss-a title that you have the misfortune of bearing. It's only natural that Lord Diavolo wants to add you to his collection of treasures, and you're not surprised when he requests your hand in marriage. Even less surprising is when your parents agree on your behalf, leaving you to deal with the aftermath despite your being entirely unprepared for a commitment as huge as this. Thus far, you've done a good job of hiding your fear with a smile, of hiding your emotions away so that no one but you knows how you feel. But on the way to the palace, a certain demon butler sees through your facade. And when his involvement in your life increases, you can't control the way your heart begins to beat faster around him. There's simply one issue: You're falling for the wrong man.

You're not the best at cooking. Though you're willing to try. And then there's Solomon, who seems to be pretty decent on his own, though entirely unwilling to put in more effort than necessary. So when you two have to work together to produce some human dishes for the Diavolo's retreat, it feels fitting that you collide in what can only be described as a chaotic tale of flying spatulas and cakes unbaked. ~Oneshot
