Meticulous. Efficient. Headstrong. That was Raf. He can't quite pinpoint the exact moment he was this way, but he knows that for as long as he could remember, it has always been like this. His days were calculated, every hour of every day was spent going over lectures, reading on current events, training for competitions, and counting down the days when he can finally graduate, and live without burdensome expectations. However, all this time spent, and even with the constant looming pressure from his father, he's still number two. Gifted. Focused. Persevering. That was Vie. She has worked twice as harder and longer than anybody, both inside and outside the four walls of a classroom. She almost never has time for herself, always running late to schedules, hopping from one part time job to another. All she dreams of is to graduate with grades good enough to merit a scholarship to medical school, in the hopes that she could provide a better life for herself and her only family, her grandmother. Two polarizing personalities. Two different reasons. One goal. Get that number one spot. How far will Raf go just to get ahead? Is it as far as to win Vie's heart? Can Vie handle a little distraction, or is it too much to her already-full plate?
