Shahzaib is an independent filmmaker who is extremely against marriage and believes no one should ever ruin their lives by getting married. After his father's passing, he thinks he will inherit his father's fortune. However, getting the inheritance comes with a condition. He must get married before turning 40. Running out of time and with no bride insight, he offers a deal to his friend's restaurant waitress. He will give her the money she needs for her aunt's operation and cast her in his film if she agrees to marry him for a month. Seher is a 29-year-old struggling actor who only dreams of becoming a famous actress. She believes that she will get a chance of a lifetime to make her dream come true one day. She was not expecting that her boss's director friend would offer that deal in exchange for marriage. Looking at this deal to help her aunt, who raised her like her own daughter, plus a chance to play a role of a lifetime, she agrees to pretend to be in a relationship with him. Tied in a fake relationship that started with a lie, two rings, and a wedding, how will it work when they come from such different parts of society and have to pretend to be in domestic bliss in front of the world? I could see the tracing of him losing his trust in me just as something inside me completely broke. 'Don't look at me like this,' I managed to say without breaking eye contact. 'Fine I am letting you go; you are released, Seher.' He said and finally looked away. I wanted to tell him I would think about him and only him today and forever, but he didn't need to know that. I would keep him in my silent prayers and wish him every smile and happiness. I finally walked away and didn't look back, even when I heard him slam his fist on the door. Simplicity and complexity never worked out anyway.

Based on the Indian daily soap, Qubool Hai, it's the story of Zoya (the female lead) and Asad (male lead) and their journey to understanding and accepting each other. In the show Zoya gains a good understanding on Asad because she lives with his family for a few months. But Asad keeps his distance from Zoya, and fails to really understand her, despite being in love with her. His attempts to keep her at arm's length cause him to lash out at her and hurt her. Finally, one of his outbursts tests her patience, and Zoya decides she's had enough. Will he ever respect and attempt to understand the reasons behind her actions? Will he make the effort to do so? Read on to find out :) Note: The dialogue at the moment is a mix of Hindi/Urdu and English. But I will be posting another version (or editing this chapter) with the dialogue all in English.
