In the heart of the African savannah, a research team pushes science past its limits by administering Compound 3PX-a potent fusion of LSD, DMT, and mescaline-to elephants under the watchful glare of a towering black totem. What begins as a bold study of altered perception spirals into a nightmare as reality warps, technology fails, and time itself unravels. Emails, journal entries, and corrupted data logs expose the team's frantic battle for sanity-and survival-against an ancient cosmic force awakened by their own ambition. A vivid, first-person account of a psychedelic experience that spirals into a terrifying ordeal, blurring the lines between drug-induced paranoia and a genuinely sinister situation. The narrative starts with an initial burst of euphoria and connection, fueled by a potent mix of LSD and other substances at a "hippie hoedown." The narrator describes a feeling of cosmic bliss and a magical encounter with a long-admired person. However, the tone quickly shifts as a friend's irresponsible behavior and the narrator's escalating bad trip introduce a profound sense of dread. The act of comforting a vulnerable, abandoned woman provides a brief moment of altruism and a temporary anchor. The core of the story revolves around the narrator's descent into paranoia, specifically the belief that he is being targeted by a vengeful group led by a figure named Skrim. The repeated, unsettling conversations, the ominous shanty, and the direct threats involving knives and "castration blankets" fuel this terror. The narrator's attempts to find solace or confirmation from others are met with chillingly sarcastic denials, further isolating him and intensifying his fear. The climax of the story is the "trap" of the group hug, where the narrator feels physically ambushed and narrowly escapes. The unblinking stares and lack of concern from the group cement his conviction that he was in real danger. The story concludes with a long, terrifying walk home, leaving the reader to ponder whether the events were purely a product of a drug-fueled nightmare or if there was a genuine threat lurking beneath the surface of the festival.

An unhinged hyperspace joyride through existential detours, beat poetry, and the kind of interstellar mishaps only a drunk Betelgeusian and a sentient cactus could survive. In The Cosmic Shortcut, Captain Zarnok Quarkwhistle-three-eyed, chronically hungover, and philosophically unbothered-takes the helm of the Infinite Hangover, a spaceship with the elegance of a chrome toaster and the emotional depth of a washed-up lounge singer. Alongside him is his co-pilot Prickly Pete, a beatnik cactus prone to cosmic anxiety and spontaneous free verse. Together, they plunge headfirst into the Glibblefold Turnabout, a shortcut through reality so sketchy it has its own parole officer.

a wry, hallucinatory novel about one man's misguided attempt to flee the wreckage of his life - and what he finds instead. Lodge Gratz has had enough. Orphaned, recently divorced, and quietly convinced he's dying of a slow, invisible illness he traces back to the dust of September 11th, Lodge does what any desperate, spiritually curious New Yorker might do: he buys a one-way ticket into the Amazon jungle. What follows is not a neat arc of healing, but a humid, often absurd plunge into ritual, ceremony, and the myth of reinvention. As Lodge stumbles barefoot through the unfamiliar terrain of ayahuasca retreats, silent guides, and his own crumbling psyche, he begins to confront the very thing he was trying to outrun: himself. Told in a voice that's as sharp as it is compassionate, Holidays, Travel, and Other Misconceptions explores how we project meaning onto holidays, travel, and transformation - and how those projections, shaped by personal trauma and cultural noise, often obscure the quieter truths hiding in plain sight. It's a story about grief disguised as escape, about the rituals we inherit and the ones we invent, and about what's left when the curated version of ourselves finally collapses.

D. for his own amusement. The party morphs into a fiasco slowly. Cosmo and Katasha pick up where they left off easily, finding out they have more in common than they thought on many levels, still. After finding some privacy, sipping slowly at Momma Moe's 'drank' the two effortlessly melt into a passion soaked sexual adventure neither of them expected, or will ever forget. Outside the bubble they create around themselves with their intimacy, chaos ensues as some of the unrefined guests start to get a little too free. What was a beautiful night of partying and reuniting becomes a senseless violent uprising that they must stick together through to survive.
