The Lady Edwina Mountbatten was known for many things in high society London: the favored heiress to her grandfather's immense fortune, marrying the grandson of Queen Victoria, charming Fred Astaire, and for her affair with the first Prime Minister of India, Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru. The real Lady Mountbatten was full of grace and wit, a repertoire of quick - fire intelligent banter, political acumen that rivaled statesmen, and a generous, compassionate heart that had a whole nation falling in love with her. The story begins in 1938 Europe at the beginning of World War II aboard the Venice Simplon Orient Express, where the Countess shares a cabin with a man whose letters would one day become her most prized possessions.

A collection of poems written by me, ranging from my first ones to all the latest editions. The title is inspired by the famous Diary of a Young girl by Anne Frank.
