The Emperor of Mankind has sat immobile on his throne for millennia, watching from humanity's oasis and the center of his Imperium: Terra. He alone has witnessed the desolation, the destruction, and rot that has corrupted his once great dream. During the Great Crusade, the Empress of mankind sets out to the stars to reclaim her lost demigod daughters, the Primarchs. During this Crusade to reunite humanity, the Empress is surprised after words of an immortal man crossing the stars has begun to conquer the Galaxy as well and has set his eyes on Caliban.

The Emperor of Mankind abandons the Imperium to fight the Chaos Gods directly, leaving the Primarchs in charge of the Empire. After a couple of centuries, the Imperium begins to decline, and differences arise among the Primarchs. The Imperium of Man faces its greatest crisis. Horus, the Warmaster, tries to maintain control, but the galaxy is torn apart into factions led by the Primarchs. Betrayals, unexpected alliances, and the struggle for power will shape the fate of humanity. New factions and sub-factions emerge: chaotic legions, empires, leagues, and alliances. All rights to the franchise belong to Games Workshop. I do not claim ownership of anything-this is just a reimagining.

Amidst the wars of the Great Crusade, Warmaster Horus rebelled against the machinations of Chaos and sacrificed himself for the Galaxy; Lorgar's Rebellion finally seems to have become a distant memory for the Imperium.
