"Watch me," I say, walking away.

Riley Thomas isn't your typical basketball loving girl.
She's good.
Really good.
Trying out for a girls team has never been a real challenge for her. She could show up at a try-out and coaches would already know who their number one pick is.
But Riley wanted a challenge.
Low and behold the boys team of Eastwood High.

I planted my feet on the court. The clock was running down to its final seconds. I made my hands comfortable on the ball and eyed the clock.
