I was born a prince.
Which is hilarious-because I'm also the biggest disappointment in vampire history.
In the Phantom Dimension, every vampire waits for the Depinox Period-
(aka vampire puberty )the glorious moment when wings rip out, fangs descend, and power floods your veins. Royal families throw parties. Legends are born.
When mine came?
Nothing.
No wings.
No powers.
No dramatic glow-up.
Not even a one tiny fang.
I stayed the same. Same height. Same face. Same useless body.
Turns out I wasn't a late bloomer-I was a lampir. A failed vampire who would never transform.
The L.A.K. (Lampir Assassination Knights) exist for one reason: to erase lampirs like me.
There's only one loophole in their merciless law(which is stupid as it sounds):-if a human who hates vampires agrees to keep you, your life is spared.
Ridiculous rule. Impossible odds.
Until someone actually said yes.
Aunt Louise.
Human. Brave. Slightly insane.
And completely unaware of the chaos she just adopted.
Now I'm being ripped from everything I know and sent to Earth-specifically Marble City, a place full of humans, secrets, and zero tolerance for creatures like me.
To vampires, I'm a disgrace. To humans, I'm a freak.
I don't belong in either world.
Between high school drama and the terrifying new normal of human life, I must hide what I am. But in a city of millions, the most dangerous secret of all is my own.
Can a prince with no crown, no fangs, and no future ever find where he belongs?
