Dominic Wolfwood, a 40 year old antisocial man, goes to camp in the Alaska wilderness. However, the winter gets really bad, and he gets lost. With the minimal tools he has, and a lone wolf he meets, he has to survive for months and get home. He has to deal with other explorers who have lost their minds, the harsh weather, wild animals and extreme cold, all while making sure not to lose his life.

Trying to find this mystery man, Kate wanders to a small town on the edge of the forest, but what she finds is almost too much to handle. Who is Zander Black? Will she remember? Once I finally get him inside, I take care of his wounds. "There you go... All better. Poor thing, who would do this to such a beautiful creature." I spoke softly while slowly running my hand through the wolf's fur coat. "Well, I'll make sure that no one can hurt you again, yeah. You can stay here with me and I'll call you...
