Lyra Walker has been living on her own since she was sixteen, but throughout her whole life she was always alone and unloved. Now at 23 being alone is just something she can't handle anymore. They send her to America just as she's arriving home for the first time in months. She's sent ot live her cousin Jolle Karlsson who moved there not too long ago. What Viola and her family doesnt know, is that Jolle and his friends are in a band and they're extremely reckless.
