***THIS IS AN AU WHERE MAX AND ISAAC ARE 15 & 16 AND KNOW MORE ABOUT EACH OTHER*** this was just a little something i had in my head since i finished reading paranatural just around a month ago (yeah i'm a little late to the party but i am ready for it's return next year!) cover background does not belong to me. unfortunately i cannot find the original artist as of now but i will link it as soon as i find it.

On the outside, Maritza Obscura seems like your typical emo/goth girl. In reality, that couldn't be less true. Daughter of multi-millionaire Anthony Obscura, she lives in a huge penthouse apartment on Park Avenue in NYC. But there's a catch. She is the only Paranatural alive. She can see vampires, ghosts, and the like, but she can't tell other humans. Her born duty is to protect the world from rogue vampires, werewolves, etc., without the world knowing about it. It's her job to keep balance in the world, even if it means risking her own life in the process. All goes well until one day, she meets a newly Turned vampire, and they start falling for each other. Harmless, right? No. Paranaturals technically count as human, and humans can't date paranormal beings. Can they manage to keep their love a secret, or will they just forget about each other? And what about the fate of the world, which rests on Maritza's shoulders? Will she be able to hold it up? Or will it come crashing down around her?

Give a description of my story? Oh, okay. Um... trash? Slightly better trash? Stars-have-aligned-suddenly-not-trash? All of the above? I spend a large majority of the school day drawing, I might as well put it somewhere.

Legends, witchcraft, mythical monsters... In this world you have to do your best to survive , the strong ones survive while the weaks in the end will die , in this world you have to chose very well the ones you trust.... why? , because this world is infested with creatures , monsters and beasts that have lead to the almost fall of al human civilizations . But one girl is trying to change that , and it all starts with a book.

Joe was just trying to get to the bar to meet up with some friends for a beer when he came across what he thought was a mugging, and tried to play good Samaritan to a woman being surrounded by a group of men with clear violence in mind. Instead he finds finds himself needing saved, and everything he thought he knew about his friends, even his family, yanked out from under him as he drops straight into a world where Vampires, and possibly even other things that bump in the night are dangerously real, and not even the greatest threat he finds himself facing, just for having had an unexpected glimpse into a dark world with some real teeth. Updated Editors Note: This run at the story is currently -on hold-. I feel as though it may have become too rambly and I'm not sure if it's worth fixing, so I am redrafting. Editors Note: 4/6/17- OK so maybe I lied. I am rereading and trying to tweak a little since this was the older and apparently more popular version of the story, and maybe worth fixing. I'm going chapter by chapter to get familiar again and then I'll try and keep going after I finish making changes. - I have changed stuff up to Guest pt 2 and am working from there. Please tell me if you see glaring typos or punctuation problems, because I'll probably miss them.

Ever since Joanne was a little girl, she romanticized how she would meet her knight in shining armor. They would travel the world, exploring new sights, falling deeper and deeper in love with each passing day. That is if she wasn't trapped in her small little town. Content with everyone hating her, she stay to herself, until she meets her little sister's new teacher, who is perfect in every single way. Except one thing. He runs away from her everytime she gets close.

Max is having troubles sleeping because of his paranoia, so Isaac helps him calm down and gives him a back rub to help him fall asleep. Paranatural and all of its' characters belong to Zack Morrison.
