Some of the other Urgals things Uruk is strange. He uses bows, a raid weapon, every day. He is weak and quiet. Even his name sounds small. Galbatorix is gone and an egg has gone to the dwarves and and egg has gone to the Urgals. Eragon has used the name of the ancient language to make it possible for dragons to choose either of the two races for their Riders, as well as elves and humans. Every three months the egg is passed around the village in hopes it will hatch. This has gone on for only six months but the Herndall as beginning to worry. They need Riders, and NOW. My name is Umaroth Ajikson. My father and sister died in a fire, my mother died shortly afterwards. I've been living in the Spine since shortly after that. However, one day I saved someone from dying by a bear. This person was travelling with another person and a dragon. My life just got a whole lot more interesting. I joined the trio on their travels with my trusty stallion, Istal. Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, must take up the mantle of the legendary Dragon Riders. Joined by Brom, an old storyteller who isn't who he says he is, and myself, someone who has a lot of bad luck, all of us must navigate the dangerous terrain and dark enemies of an Empire ruled by a king whose evil knows no bounds. Together we must face enemies and get through the battles surround us. I've been sucked into an adventure that wasn't meant to be mine, but now that I'm here, I'm not leaving Eragon, Brom and Saphira to their fate. Plus, the purple dragon in my dreams says we're going to meet soon. Who am I to deny that? This is my story, and remember; when everything seems dark sja fram, look forward.

This is a prequel and re-write of the series inheritance, In the first book we learn that Brom- a storyteller was in fact a dragon rider. However there is not much chance to reveal his past or his secret love with Eragon's mother before he dies. This is my imaginary version of his childhood and adventures of being a dragon rider and how I think the rest of the first book should have gone. Thanks hope you enjoy reading xxx

I believe that seeing more than 60 parts in a story makes the readers (or at least me as a reader) feel uncomfortable so I'm dividing in different Episodes: At the Beors, At Du Weldenvarden, The Beggining of the Invasion, New Allies, etc. I'm trying to keep the word count per chapter at 2000 but I can't always divide the chapters smoothly so there may be some parts with 3000 to 7000 words. I suggest to read each chapter entirely to get a better grasp of the plot. Also, there are some scenes of bloodshed and fight, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. There may be some scenes not for children but not until, at least, chapter 35, Episode 3 or 4. Updates once or twice a week. Also gramatical correction of the already posted chapters. It's 132 years after the fall of Galbatorix, and the Riders are finally returning. A young girl sees a thunder of dragons flying overhead whilst out playing with her friends, and knows exactly what she wants to be. Ten years on, she still possesses that wish. Despite the wishes of her overly-controlling father, she sneaks out to the Egg Ceremony - and all hell breaks loose.

The new generation of Riders have risen in Alagaësia, and the kingdom is flourishing under the rule of Queen Nasuada. Eragon has built the new fort with the help of the elves, and to the surprise and confusion of many, he has a daughter, for which the dragon Eridor hatched. In another part of Alagaësia, (Dras-Leona, to be specific,) a girl has an inexplicable fascination with an oak tree near the city, by the creek-with-no-name. Fate has an odd and cruel sense of humor, and paths often wander and get entangled with eachother in strange ways, so read on and see where these paths will lead, be it to death or adventure. Now, instead of her simple life of caretaking, the young female elf, Theanil, whose hand the dragon's wellbeing was placed in, must leave her home in pursuit of a runaway hatchling. With the help of a human boy and a renowned witch, she finds the silvery dragon with her rightful rider... Geclaz was already an outcast of his urgal tribe. When a silver mark appeared on his palm, he was even more ostracized. And now, to add to his luck, he starts hearing a voice in his head.

After he leaves Alageisia Eragon finds out that there is another danger in Alagesia, what is it this time, who is it? WIll Eragon find a way to bend the witch Angela's prophecy? Read, vote, comment, and share to find out.
