What happens when God and The Devil have a child, well you get me. My name in Indigo but everyone calls me Indi, I was given the name by my birth parents before they kicked me to earth when I was six, because of my purple eyes. My mother said I was too evil and my father I was too good so the only place I could go was earth where mortals lived. Obviously I'm not completely mortal though, I can be hurt but I still have my powers, which is helpful most of the time. I was left to fend for myself that is until now. OC and Avenger's crossover. Disclaimer- I do not own the Avengers as much as I would love to. I do however own Indi and the characters like her, plus the plot line. (Wrote this in covid times kinda shit but maybe worth the read) TW: swearing, abuse.

"Before I Speak to You, I Speak to God First." This is a letter to the diagnosis that tried to break me. This isn't a story of sickness - it's a declaration of victory. Myasthenia Gravis MuSK may have touched my body, but it will never own my future. In this fierce, faith-filled letter, I speak directly to the illness that tried to claim me as its host. I reject it. I rebuke it. I put it in its place. With scripture as my sword and Jesus as my strength, I cover my organs, my nerves, my muscles, and my mind in the blood of Christ. This is my voice. My story. My promise. And to MG-MuSK? You should have never picked the wrong one.

Life in Los Angeles is a quilt with threads of ambition, hardship, and unwavering hope. This is the world Anya inhabits-a vibrant, complex, and challenging landscape where dreams and realities often collide. This novel follows Anya, a young Black woman striving to build her own sustainable beauty company, while simultaneously navigating the demands of college and a demanding relationship. It is a story of fierce independence and the importance of community, of balancing personal aspirations with the weight of financial responsibility, and of the persistent challenges inherent in striving for success within a system often stacked against you. Anya's journey isn't a smooth ascent; it's a winding road filled with setbacks, heartbreaks, and moments of profound self-doubt. But it's also a journey fueled by an unyielding spirit, a deep-seated belief in her abilities, and the unwavering support of those around her. Through Anya's experiences, we explore the realities of class and race in Los Angeles, the subtle and overt forms of discrimination she faces, and the ways in which she learns to overcome obstacles and forge her own path. This is not just a story about Anya's professional ambitions; it's also a deeply personal exploration of love, friendship, and the ongoing process of self-discovery. It's a story about finding your voice, claiming your power, and building a life that is both authentic and fulfilling. Prepare to be swept away by Anya's journey-a compelling narrative that reflects the complexities, resilience, and ultimate triumph of the Black female experience in contemporary America. Her story is yours, and it is ours.
