I try, Tina. I hope that where you are, you can see my life, you can see my happiness. I believe that you forgive me. You gave me this perfect word and went away to another one. ___________ This is a very old story. I wrote it when I was 14 (2015) for an essay contest in English, recently I was visiting my parents and found a notebook with a story, it was all in my teacher's corrections, but I liked the plot so much. I remembered how much I liked writing it and how proud I was of it! (This was my first work in English and the first story I showed to adults) Initially, instead of Tina, the gorl's name was Emmy, but when I reread it, I could clearly see Foolish in my head and it was just a whooh something inbetwee insight and epiphany. I didn't correct the structure of the sentences. This is a tribute to a 14-year-old insecure me. words: 838

This is a spoken-word type poem, I guess. Reading it to yourself does not take anything away from the piece but I always imagined it being spoken. I would call it, "what happens when you word-vomit an idea and then revise it until you are almost happy with it but knowing enough about yourself to realize it will never be perfect and if I don't put it out, I never will". Subject matter consists of decently phrased thoughts, hoping to provoke some thought, and it can be applied to whatever the reader sees fit. Hope you enjoy but also ponder.

In that moment, that one fleeting moment everything was perfect. That flash of gold, when the sunlight scrapes at the burning ebony sky, banishing the shutter of darkness. The gentle breeze singing in the forests, whistling through the leaves, and brushing through my cropped hair. Nothing made sense to me, but that felt fine. I was happy. I was content. I could have stayed on that roof forever, smiling in awe at the ever changing cosmos...

Owen extends friendship to everyone who moves to Sandrock, including Justice's new deputy. Disclaimer - I don't own My Time At Sandrock. This is written for the monthly Froday challenge for June 2022 which involves the zodiac signs and for this I went with Owen's spring birthday of the second being equivalent to March 2 making him a Pisces while attempting to focus on compassionate, kind and sympathetic while hopefully tossing in a bit of the imaginative and intuitive in there. There are no major spoilers for the game in his fic, just speculation on my part based on what little I've played so far and certain headcanon that I thought would be fun. As for the rather odd things Unsuur said, it comes from looking at what he happens to like gift wise over on the Sandrock wiki at the time of writing this which happens to be a definite liking for rock and not having a negative reaction to manure like other characters do, which may definitely change once the game is no longer early access, but it will definitely stick when it comes to his character.
