Her mother gave her the name Mirasol, which translates to "sunflower," because Mirasol's father abandoned them when she was still in the womb. She came paths with a mobster who belongs to the renowned group known as The Elite Five since Claude's brother frequently requested kakanin from her mother. As the days went by, they grew closer, and after a year, they made plans to tie the knot. However, Claude's parents, particularly his mother, are very controlling; she doesn't want Mirasol for her son; instead, she wants someone better-rich and successful-and that someone is Mica. Her mother fought for their love, but in relationships, the word "arranged marriage" is sometimes included.
