Lainey Collin's is 23 year old doctor who is also a full guardian of her 9 year old niece Katie Hawkins. Who is her sister and bother in law daughter. Lainey used to live in Boston. But after when her sister and brother in law passed away she thought it would be good for her and Katie to move to Seattle. Soon after Marcy west hospital had to move to settle Grace Hospital for a big merger where Mercy west and Grace hospital Has to Join hospitals which is now called Mercy west grace hospital. Few months into working at Mercy west grace hospital. Lainey and Jackson grew even more closer. Both Jackson and Lainey realized they both have feelings for each other. But with both Jackson and Lainey tell each they have feelings for each other or just let each other go
