aA metaphorical short story about the years I struggled with alcohol addiction and how it made me feel every time I drank

A mortal spends hours pouring over parchment by candlelight in rickety taverns across the land while his companions rest. While cheering from downstairs and snoring from beside him closes in on Arthur, he pens letters to his beloved patron. A shame he'll never receive them.

There are certain places and certain things we don't just push to the back of our minds some memories come back they hunt us in every thing we do ...the quest is when you get tired of running and hiding from your own life where do you turn....."and unconsciously she muttered a word...."

The ramblings of a woman who spent too much time in confession and too little time trying to figure out what exactly she was apologizing for.

Words can bring us alive. They let our imagination run free, and they show us who we really are. These words can cut, kill, and wound. They can heal, love, and beautify. They may be no more than a scratch of ink on a parchment, or a syllable mouthed with the simple opening and closing of the lips, but beware: They can mean so much more than what they seem to be, just like so many other things in life. All those sleepless nights, those daydreams, those infinite moments; all put down in words to help bear the burden enough.
