An 'Urgent' Letter from Professor Egadd brings Starlow and the Mario Brothers to the Bean Bean Kingdom to his Coffee Shop. Upon arriving they are greeted by Stuffwell, Mario and Luigi's old Companion. They Meet with Egadd who is confused as why they all came so suddenly. Starlow explains how urgent sounding the letter was, but the professor shook it off and explained why he gathered them there. He begins to explain he's possibly created something that could bring about the Future of all the Kingdom's in the region, but there were some Bugs, Glitches, Etc and needed the Mario Brothers Help to tend to them. When Mario and Luigi insisted they didn't know how to work with Technology, Egadd introduced Mario and Reintroduced Luigi to 'The Pixelater' (Introduced in Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon). A device that would allow Mario and Luigi to enter the Digital world and take the Bugs out at their sources. But of course, they couldn't do it alone...

Annabelle is a optimistic 14 year old girl who gets separated after her powers get out of control her friends fall into different regions of this world Hollie and Charlie a little angel boi these guys are one of Annabelle's best friend is on a mission with Mario to find his brother and Annabelle Sala and baron get separated to the kong kingdom where sala has to protect baron Annabelle falls into the dark lands meeting bowser who which she forms a close friendship with... Will our hero's find each other and get back home we'll read and see....

This takes place before the future (book) and after Regina left. This mainly focuses during the ten years on how the new life is for both the Koopalings and for Regina during those ten years. However this is mainly on the Koopalings' point of view than on Regina.
