Rodrick Heffley x Fem! Reader ------------------------- Rodrick thought he had it easy, flying through high school as the drummer of it's one and only band. Small gigs and a few jobs here and there, slowly gaining popularity. Things couldn't be more simple. . . . Then another band rose to the top.

The building is a cold disaster of bad wiring and worse smells. Downstairs is Sam Monroe, a volatile artist fuelled by rage and needing silence. TW: There will be mentions of Suicide Y/N Poncier lives one town over from Plainview. Y/N's parents have been planning a very long vacation for a very long time. Halfway through her junior year, they decide to take the trip. They're going to be gone for eight months on a road trip across the entirety of the states. Instead of letting her stay by herself, they're sending her to her aunt and uncle's house on the north side of Plainview. The Hill's. She starts her first day of school at their high school in the new semester. But when a boy, who's been crushing on your cousin Heather for years, meets Y/N... shit happens.

The story mainly follows Y/n as she navigates her feelings and the world around her.

So I decided to do a Rodrick fic. Unironically. This fic will take place over the course of the three movies we care about (#notmyrodrick) with obvious edits to the plot to accommodate for the romance aspect. Haven't decided whether to include mature content but we'll figure it out. Really looking forward to hell when I get there.
