You are assigned a group project with Linhardt, who waits until the absolute last minute to finish it. You enter his room to question him, and ultimately end up quite flustered.

Byleth had never been one to question those above her but once she finds herself as a student at Garreg Mach Monastery she find herself conflicted in trying to balance the ideals of those close to her before all out war breaks out over all of Fodlan.

Sylvain Jose Gautier has always been a flirt. Byleth was warned of that from day one by her students in the Black Eagle house. Despite recruiting him, she was wary of him and his actions. Byleth Eisner was beautiful. Almost every man in the Officer's Academy agreed on that. Especially to Sylvain. She was shy-like around him, but he assumed it was because he was a flirt. He wanted to change for the Professor. No woman had ever captivated him the way Byleth had. And Byleth wasn't one to mince the truth for anyone. She didn't see money or crests... She saw people for who they were. Maybe that's why he wanted to change for her... But could he win her love in return?

The ultimate battle, love, friendship, family, sci-fi concept rigmarole. It always circles back to Rick... *disclaimer* This is merely a fanfic. And then it was fighting in the war, but now that's over and- Where do I go now?" Ashe gave her a different smile - this one had pity (she was familiar with pity) - and shook his head, "No one can really tell you what it is, Bernadetta! It's something I think you have to find on your own... But until you find something, we can say that writing to me can be your something!" ----- Post war in the Golden Deer class, Bernadetta is trapped in her room all over again, just like she was in school. But now, it's far, far worse. Bernadetta von Varley isn't fully convinced she'll survive this time. But for now, she can focus on her writing assignment from Ashe Duran. That should be simple enough. This fic is a vent. There are triggering topics mentioned, and this fic should be read cautiously. There will be references to Bernadetta's home life, references and mentions of self harm, references and mentions of suicidal thoughts, references and mentions of derealization, and other content. Please take care of yourself and reach out to a hotline or loved one if you are in danger. Some characters (cough Hubert and Yuri) may be out of character. I wrote what I needed to read when I was writing this, and that didn't always translate perfectly to the characters that pair best with Bernie. Apologies.

It's been two years since the war started, the empire was making lots of progress with their goal to destroy the church and the faulty nobility system. The black eagles remained loyal to Edelgard and the Adrestian Empire. However, while winning the war was their top priority, certain members of the Black Eagle Strike Force were dealing with certain other situations... Okay so for context, there's three different factions in Fodlan--The Adrestian Empire, The Holy Kingdom of Fhaergus, and the Leicester Alliance(Later the Leicester Federation). In the middle of all of them is the Church of Seiros, lead by the the three last children of the goddess--Cichol (Seteth), Cethleann (Flayn), and Seiros (Archbishop Rhea). The empire declares war on the church because the church is the cause of the nobility system. To sum it up, basically, only those who are born noble can be super rich or important. Commoners can be merchants and make a lot of money, but are unable to become royalty or climb the ranks any farther than simply a rich commoner. So the emperor of the Adrestian Empire wants to take down the church and their faulty nobility system.
