The story starts with her meeting the new kid sallyface and she is genuinely curious about him. They become friends and when they all become a group they slove some weird stuff. Katherine Gordon, Kat, is a 17 year old girl who moves to the town of Nockfell with her mother and step father. She begins having nightmares shortly after her arrival, then progressively getting worse with each passing day. It starts with meeting Rosenberg in the black room, then she begins reliving the lives of the deceased from Addison apartments. Kat's life slowly starts to crumble around her while trying to maintain her new found friendship with a group of strange people
