Being homeschooled for 16 years of your life and having a overprotective mother has its perks. Actually, it doesn't. Her mother accepts and allows her to go to a public school. The 'humans' are different than what Emily thought they would look like. They looked exactly like 'witches'. What Emily didn't know, is that she wasn't actually a witch. And when she becomes too attached to Leo Mathews the boy in all of her classes what happens to her she finds out she isn't a witch after all? What happens when she finds out not all people are bad?

This Sideous Christmas special is a prequel to the original book, setting the tone. Dr Evil McCondiche, sets up a plan to destroy Christmas and capture Santa to do with what he pleases. Bob also has more screen time. And Arran McNicoll makes an appearance
