Sarah is old, as most have a disposition to be at some time or another. Her mind is pulled over and under currents of dream and remembrance, without much discernment for which is which. Yet, there is one thing she can see but cannot grasp - her granddaughter. (Y/N) fixates on her Gran's stories, not because she believes them, but because she so desperately wants to meet the woman who lost her mind before she could walk. But when Sarah falls into a sleep like death clasping a napkin with an unfinished wish, (Y/N) does something she will never be forgiven for. Something her Gran had made her swear over and over she'd never even think. Something that will pull her deep into a world she has no right to enter - that isn't hers.
"I wish..."
Now (Y/N) has something to find. She has scarce time to do it. And she is not the only one who will do terrible, unthinkable things to get it.
