She graduated business school. His band made it big. They travelled the world together. Now James and Riley have returned to Toronto to take over as studio director and head choreographer at The Next Step. A house, a fiancé and her dream job, Riley's life couldn't be better. However when her anxiety returns and sends her into a deep dark depression, James and their loved ones must give her all the love and support she needs so that she can find the strength within herself to see the sun rise once again.

She's always done what was asked of her and never stepped a single foot out of line. She was a lot more diligent than to mess around with the things that were thrown at her. The last thing she's ever wanted to do is disappoint her family, everything she does is to please them. Which is why when she's told she is due to marry James, there's no arguing over it. She wants nothing more than to follow the book to a tee, but that's a lot harder to stick to with James as a fiancé with very different plans to her.
