On that fateful night in October 1981 Regulus Black saves James Potter, but wasn't fast enough to save Lily too. After James gets over the shock of seeing his assumed dead ex-boyfriend he buried Lily, then with the promise that Regulus will explain everything later, they grab Harry and run to a Black family home in France. It's there that they live and raise Harry in secret under the fidelius charm where Regulus himself is the secret keeper. The entire world thinks that they are dead, the only people who know the truth are none other than the Malfoys. When it's time for Harry to go to Hogwarts the wizarding world is shocked to see the boy alive, but even more so when The Boy Who Lived is sorted into Slytherin.

When James wakes up, his head his pounding. He can't remember drinking anything, but supposes he must have because it feels like he's been hit square between the eyes with a bludger. He's never been one to get hungover, but he knows this is what it's supposed to feel like. Although, come to think of it, he doesn't remember celebrating their victory on the pitch, isn't completely sure they had one at all. The last thing he remembers is turning to look to the stands, revelling in the roars of his fellow Gryffindors, certain that they were going to beat Hufflepuff. Then, he turned and... was hit square between the eyes with a bludger. Now he's stuck in the hospital wing, and the bed next to his is occupied by none other than Regulus Black.

i'm gonna try to write a proper description. don't take this seriously at all really i wrote this for a laugh that's all (i was also 14 so i don't recommend this its kinda cringy) crackfic fr this is not a full on texting story, there's some real life action going on and also some texting in the middle of some chaps. :) in which regulus black has a crush on his brothers best friend and met a nice strange online who understands what he's feeling. what regulus didn't know though is that this stranger, is not a stranger at all. also cover by @-raslikeraspberry- <3

Regulus Black has asked himself countless times, what is he willing to sacrifice? What is he willing to lose? His status, his parents, his intelligence, or maybe even his friends? The answer is that he would sacrifice it all, even if it meant they'd face a horrible death. Regulus hated that about himself because no matter who or what it was, he'd sacrifice everything for Sirius even if it meant his own life. Regulus is an English teacher and he hasn't seen Sirius for almost 2 years although they are still in contact.
