Piers contemplates resigning from the BSSA. Even though he has developed feelings for his Captain, the evil from his past is like a festering wound infecting all aspects off his life. Worst yet is that his job his one solace from his past is now throwing him right back into the lion's mouth. His rapist is now working with him. The strain and stress maybe too much for him.
