Melissa is a local babysitter in the rural town of Astonberry. 13 years old, she is known to the parents as a sweet and honest young lady. Her charges know her as what she truly is though, a wicked babysitter with an obsession with unfair punishments. Spanking isn't uncommon in Astonberry, but if parents knew just how often Melissa found her charges over her lap, they'd surely lose their heads. So Melissa only rarely excuses her behavior, and instead sets to lies, deceit, and manipulation to keep her plans in order. ___________________________________________ Cammie is a small girl, and Melissa's self appointed little sister. This rarely saves her from Melissa's wrath, but it does give her much more room to breathe. She aids her big sister in her terrible adventures, though she seems to do so out of genuine joy and not just as a way of keeping enemies close. After a car accident, 18-year-old Louis's overprotective mother, Laura, uses his recovery as an excuse to slowly unconsciously regress him into a baby-like state, starting with diapers at night, then daytime, and eventually infantilizing gear. Louis resists but gradually embraces it, sinking into an addiction to the comfort it provides.
