"You don't need to say anything, but always know that I'm here for you." A smile crept up on her face, her prominent dimples popping on the side of her cheeks. "Thank you." "You made me soft." I grumbled out as I pulled her closer, guiding her head to my shoulder. "Is that good or bad?" Her warm eyes met mine. I looked down at her. "Good. Very good." "Why do you think that?" Her breath hitched at the proximity of our faces. "If I weren't soft then I wouldn't feel the way I do about you."

Her heart needs help. The first thing the doctors do is put in a shunt. Then at 3 months old she has a surgery to repair these problems. The doctors at Texas Children's Hospital where Hannah is being treated say Hannah needs medication for her whole life, more surgeries is highly likely, constant monitoring, observation stays, and emergency visits to the hospital are all going to happen. The tell them that also there is a chance for heart transplant some where down the road. Hannah's parents are ready to be brave and help Hannah. Hannah will become a heart warrior who will bring much joy and dreams into the world.

Every heart patient has a hope from their doctor to make them feel alive again...This connection of heart and doctor applies to our everyday life as well. Where every broken person needs their friends, family or anyone who put the hope in them to live a better life again.
