    Norway lost to England. Their plane is supposed to take off two days later. Sending a message to Jude, who is likely still celebrating his team's victory, and their advancement to the semi-finals, might not be the smartest move Erling has ever made, but it's probably one of the most desperate. The man knows he shouldn't, he knows that once more, he's about to break one of the few rules that he resolved to follow even though he had absolutely no desire to do so. But he does. He does send a text, then reviews all the mistakes he has made since telling Jude Bellingham that they would both be better off finding girlfriends. or A world where two boys can have fun in front of the cameras, but must stop the moment it stop rolling.

    Erling's gaze dropped to Jude's lips. Just lean in, a voice whispered in the back of his mind. "Ruin the friendship. Who cares? " Jude didn't pull away. His chest rose and fell in a slow, expectant rhythm. His hand hovered on the bench between them, fingertips inches from Erling's. Then Jude cracked a soft, nervous smile, breaking the spell, and patted Erling's knee.
