Ricky Bowen, Nini Salazar-Roberts, E.J. Caswell, and Gina Porter are a group of friends that are part of a bigger group of friends. Their all enrolled at East High and their lives have completely different lives and personalities. Nini has it well living with her two moms and grandmother, she's trying to pursue her love for singing, but her insecurity keeps getting in the way, no matter how hard she tries. She knows what she wants, but she just wants to find who she wants to be. As an effect of moving from place to place and losing her brother, Gina decided to try and close herself off. She thinks she's safer when she's on the run, shouldn't open herself up and hide behind her wall. After losing his parents in a bombing, EJ went to live with his aunt, uncle, and cousins, but he feels like he stands out of the crowd and isn't right or normal, for more than one reason. He just wants to find out why he always feels so different. That's all he wants, isn't it? Because of his parents constantly arguing, his abusive mother, and her toxic boyfriend, Ricky is a troubled kid, always getting into fights, stirring up trouble, and never talking to anyone about his problems. He's accepted his brutal situation, but a part of him still wants to escape from his abuse and begin again. When they get caught in an explosion and a freak accident at a science lab during a field trip, they all gain unique and special abilities and are introduced to a whole new world, a world of superheroes. With the help of a few new friends and family, they are able to gain control of their new powers. What happens when a new upcoming villain threatens their city and these four are forced to put their powers to the test? These four must overcome new challenges to protect their secret as exciting discoveries are made, family secrets are exposed, and unexpected feelings arise. Isabelle is an girl from the past who sadly died in a school shooting. Isabelle comes back but not as a ghost but as a beautiful angel although she does not know that part she believes that she is like any other ghost but just has some special abilities. The 'ghost' spends most of her time in a school called 'East High' where she watches over the student but mostly one 'Ricky Bowen'. She helps Ricky whenever she can and has people who are his friends refer to her as his guardian angel which she likes the thought of protecting him. When she isn't with Ricky she is with her step dad (who is also a ghost) 'Caleb' whom run a club for the ghosts and lifers. The cool thing about Caleb is that he is able to be seen by the lifers. (Caleb is nice in this story) Everything changes when Caleb gives Isabelle a ring which she drops when she is at Ricky's house. Ricky picks up the ring and puts it on his finger then he see a girl in his room. Isabelle is confused to why he could see her but then realises it's because of the ring. Isabelle explain everything to Ricky and then join him on his journey on winning back his ex-girlfriend but when he realises the girl he truly wanted with was always with him. Join Isabelle on her journey with Ricky Bowen as she helps with through heart break, get through the musical and shows him how to truly love someone. They go through bumps but sort then out. This story focuses on the students of East High (mostly EJ and Gina) throughout finding love for each other and going through the motions of their relationships. Along with teachers, their home lives and trying to put on multiple theater productions a year. What could go wrong?
