This is a regular High school story.......what can go wrong?

Stuck in a struggling family and famine, retired Detective Gerard loses his son to shadow forces exploiting the famine and is forced to take up the role he left. In the search for his son, he encounters old enemies and friends along with newer threats, and struggles to fight for the moral values he's held onto all his career in order to save his son whilst problem after problem tests his inner strength.

Dying love, only brought back in fantasies.
