Tyson and Dragoon have combined at the wrong time, namely on a ship full of hunters out to keep the Bladebreakers as their test subjects until they're usefulness is spent. A typhoon ensues and swallows the crew, peaceful waters aren't promised, the US military has them in their sights, and there is still no sign of Max, Ray, or salvation in sight. Kai should have burned to death. Somehow, he wasn't, but Dranzer has vanished, his body is going through some sickly changes, and Max has jumped overboard and vanished into the depths of the sea.
