This is true, but not all children in foster are abused or neglected. Oregon has some of the largest foster care systems, with the Multnomah County has one of the highest rates of foster care placement in the nation. This is a collection of stories of the children of Oregon's foster care, those who share traumatic experience and were rescued and those who were not so lucky. All stories told are real and will be a part of each child life. Names will be anonymous if the child in it doesn't want to be known.
