This is a collection of poems I've written, I plan on adding to the existing ones. My writing can go from the whispers of a broken soul to the chuckles of a joyous heart but overall my intention is expression. I hope that my writings remain immortalised as they touch and connect people.

I am Kavi, which means poet. Motherhood awakened in me a deep longing to express myself through words - and from that longing, this poem was born.

Some emotions can't be spoken- so they were etched here, softly and deeply.

oh how these thoughts burn and burn, the flames forever flickering in the dark until I silence them with a hush... but not all things cease to whisper in the night. the ashes blow away to reveal the glowing embers beneath. the embers, thoughts, the never died.

A short poem I wrote December 9th, 2019.

It is not a collection of random poems, but bits and pieces of my heart, each one telling a new tale.

Self - written poems when I'm in the feels. I think we know how shitty life is, but stilll can't help getting hurt when those we love or trust let us down and disappoint us. I wanted to show how we experience that in subtle ways in this book. Its my first time writing poems so please do give this a chance. I'm really open to feedback and inspo too.
