Despite many sacrifices, the X-Event had finally come to an end. The multiverse is nearly back in order, with many AUs helping the shattered worlds. Cross, being able to relax for the first time in what feels like forever, has his own home in Underswap. Life is peaceful for Cross, that is, until a familiar glitchy face shows up and throws it back into the tidal wave of chaos he had worked so hard to escape from. This fanfic is an alternate version of Underverse, an animatic series made by Jael Penaloza on YouTube. The series is unfinished(as of 2025), and thus, this fanfic is most definitely NOT CANON. I'll strive to model the characters as closely as possible to their canon personalities as I can.
